I joined Newcastle Permanent (NPBS) in Jun 2018 to work on existing and new features to improve the customer experience of their Internet Banking solution. Over time I worked In addition I also worked on parts of the new banking app, and am currently involved in delivering Newcastle Permanents’ open banking solution.
Open banking
As part of the Consumer Data Right introduced by the Australian Government, NPBS is currently implementing an Open Banking service that allows consumers to share their NPBS financial data with other banks and financial service providers.
Customers will be able to connect to NPBS from another bank or financial institution, and then select the account data they wish to share.
